The Traveling Steve's

Christmas Eve at Jekyll Island 2021

This year Steve (DOS) and I are spending Christmas on Jekyll Island, one of my favorite (and secret – don’t tell anyone) travel destinations in the U.S. I’ve written about Jekyll many times on this blog, and every visit just re-enforces my love for this special place.

We are staying at the Westin Hotel oceanfront this visit, which is adjacent to the quaint Jekyll Island shopping village, beaches, and a short drive to the Jekyll Island Historic District.

We are staying on the island for six nights this visit, and have been very busy since we arrived a couple days ago, from playing croquet at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel, to listening to the nightly Christmas Bag-pipe music by Tim while sitting next to the Club Pool fire-it in our Santa hats.

We’ve met up with our good “island” friends Larson and Michelle once again, and have had a couple wonderful days of breakfasts, touring the island, dinners and just enjoying the special attraction that always brings us back to Jekyll, made even more special by this special season of Christmas.

I will post more later, but as it’s Christmas Eve, Steve (DOS) and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and for peace on Earth.

May God Bless You and your families this Christmas season, and wish you much joy in the upcoming year of 2022. Feliz Navidad! Mele Kalikimaka! and Merry Christmas to all!

Peace on Earth, and Goodwill towards men! Merry Christmas!
