Each Fall, Walt Disney World’s EPCOT hosts the International Food and Wine Festival. This 8 week event from mid-September to mid-November features ala-carte food, desserts, snacks, wine and beers from all over the world. Additional countries that do not have a permanent pavilion at EPCOT are show-cased as well, (such as Greece, Australia, Ireland etc) which provides many additional opportunities to try different dishes and vinos.
We always stay on or near WDW properties so we don’t have to drive, which if you are partaking in the vino selections is a must. We like the Swan or Dolphin hotels for their proximity to EPCOT, which while on Disney property are non-Disney owned hotels; rather part of the Starwood chain.
Each year we attend this with friends and family, some of whom are visiting from up north. For different years we have had T-shirts made up celebrating someone in the groups ‘special’ birthday; i.e. 40, 45, 50, and even 60 (that’s you Art!) etc,

which adds to the camaraderie of the jovial EPCOT atmosphere, with just about everyone having a great time. With so much food and vino – what’s not to like! So here are some photos in random order of year’s past EPCOT Food and Wine festival.
Bon Appetite!
