I recently posted my frustrations with the Costco delivery of our new wine cooler. We had just gotten back from Sonoma, CA over the Memorial Day weekend, and had paid and scheduled our delivery for Tuesday when we got back. Instead of getting a new wine cooler from France, we got a Flat panel TV from Washington D.C.! Yes, we received someone else’s TV!
Well today, nearly two weekly later – it finally arrived; all 200 pounds of it. While I knew it would be big, it really is BIG; as in we are now going to need to get a smaller table for the kitchen!
We bought an Artevino 200 wine cooler from Costco, which is made in France by Eurocave.
The cooler has to sit for 48 hours before plugging it in, so I’ll have to wait until Wednesday to firmly put it in place. I also need to adjust some of the wooden pull out shelves, but I’ll wait until Dos gets here this weekend to help with that. He also has some of the vino from Sonoma he’ll bring too; we had some shipped back to his Sarasota UPS address for ease of pickup and signature delivery.
I think we’ll maybe theme the kitchen around it, with some vino-themed items we’ve picked up as some of the vineyards.
Now, how about shopping for a bistro table and chairs? Sounds like a fun weekend activity!
To be continued . . .
