Superbowl Sunday

DOS1Steve Dos getting set for Deflate-Gate!

It’s 3pm on Sunday, and catching up on things for the upcoming week before heading across the street to our neighbor’s Kenny and Mary, to watch the ‘Big Game’.  Superbowl XLIX, that’s 49 if you don’t read roman numerals.

This year’s Superbowl features:

The Seattle Seahawks                       VS           The New England PatriotsSeattle logopatriots logo

and undoubtably some Super Commercials too!  I hear it rumored that Marcia Brady is due to make a surprise Snickers cameo!  Marcia, Marcia, Marcia – Where have you been?danny-trejo-on-the-brady-bunch-snicker-super-bowl-ftr1

So every year I have to ask ‘Why is the Superbowl played on Sunday night?  Either Monday should be a National Holiday, or the game should be played on Saturday night, so us East Coasters can recuperate from the late night party.

I have an 8:45am flight to Lexington KY tomorrow, so can’t stay up too late.  Well, I probably will anyway, but the plan is not to stay up too late.  I just checked the weather, and the forecast is for snow tomorrow, and cold weather;  Surprise, Surprise!

Steve Dos and I entered the football pool, so we have a whooping $20 at stake!  Not on any one team, but the grid number pattern based on the score at the end of each quarter.  Not a fan of either team, but guess I will root for the Seahawks.

Right, wrong, or indifferent – it should be a fun night!
