On each of our two days of wine touring in Mendoza, we had a late afternoon fancy lunch paired with wines from the respective winery. Both of the restaurants we went to: Casarena and El Enemigo were among the best rated in Mendoza as we would soon find out.
On our first day after touring the winery at Catena Zapata, we finished off the day with a wonderful lunch as Casarena. The restaurant at Casarena is located on the grounds of the winery there.
As it was late in the afternoon, the restaurant was fairly quiet, and the view overlooking the vineyards, and the service was fantastic.
Here are some photos of our afternoon wine-pairing lunch at Casarena.
And I’ll finish up this post with a photo of the two of us at Casarena. Excellent food, vino, and service with a smile. Life is good!
